Look, we're not gonna pretend we've got all the answers. But we're pretty damn serious about doing architecture that doesn't screw over the planet. Here's what we're actually doing about it.
Started out in 2011, and honestly? We were just like everyone else back then - chasing aesthetics and budgets. But after seeing how much waste came out of our first few projects, something clicked. Buildings account for nearly 40% of global carbon emissions. That's... kinda messed up when you think about it.
So we decided to flip the script. Every project now starts with a simple question: "How do we make this thing work WITH the environment instead of against it?" Not always easy, definitely more complicated, but it's become our thing.
We've cut our projects' average energy consumption by 62% compared to conventional buildings. That's not marketing fluff - that's actual metered data from buildings we've designed over the past six years.
"We're not saving the world. We're just trying to make sure our kids don't hate us for the buildings we left behind."

Our approach isn't rocket science, just thoughtful design
Before we even think about fancy tech, we nail the basics. Orientation, window placement, thermal mass - stuff that's worked for centuries. Let the building do the work before adding mechanical systems.
Solar where it makes sense. Geothermal when budgets allow. But we're not dogmatic about it - sometimes a super-efficient heat pump beats a mediocre renewable system. It's about net impact, not checking boxes.
We obsess over embodied carbon. Local suppliers when possible, recycled content always considered, and we track the whole lifecycle. That imported marble might look sick, but is it worth shipping halfway across the planet?
Look, we're not huge on collecting certificates just for the wall. But these actually mean something - they represent standards we've committed to and proven we can deliver on.
